Where We Work
Our projects include work in Haiti, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Mali, Nepal, Beirut, Ukraine, and the United States as well as disaster training for heritage colleagues, emergency responders, and military personnel at home and abroad.
The Smithsonian works closely and cooperatively with local and regional communities, government agencies, and professional groups to treat people and cultures with dignity and respect, and to save heritage in the most efficient and effective ways.
